Joined stool 

Joined stools were common seating furniture during the seventeenth century. They typically include turned decoration on the legs, with moldings on the horizontal rails. Assembled  with mortise and tenon joints, secured by wooden pins. Sometimes carved decoration appears instead of moldings on the upper rails.
